Whisky Tasting on the Strathspey Steam Railway

Like whisky and steam trains, then join Steve Oliver for a whisky nosing and tasting on the Strathspey Steam Railway followed a visit to the Whisky Castle in Tomintoul.

The bus will depart from Dufftown and drive to Aviemore to catch the Strathspey Steam Railway. After boarding the train we will enjoy 6 drams from the distilleries associated with the "Speyside Whisky Line". The return train trip takes about 1 hour 30 minutes. The terminus is at Broomhill Station (aka "Glenbogle" Station for Monarch of the Glens fans) where the steam engine will 'change ends'. On our return to Aviemore Station, we will take the scenic route back to Dufftown via Tomintoul and pop into the The Whisky Castle, meet the owners Sam and Scott Ashforth and sample some of their latest offerings.

Over 18's only please.

All the proceeds from this event after costs will be donated to the Whisky and Heritage Centre project.

This event has already taken place.

Please come again next year.
