This bus tour is a wonderful opportunity to visit Tomintoul Distillery (not normally open to the public) and be guided on an extensive distillery tour with Production Manager, Graeme Bowie.
Tomintoul is a relatively modern Distillery nestling on A'anside about 4 miles to the north of Tomintoul Village. The Distillery is a part of the family-owned Angus Dundee Distillers. This in-depth tour will include a visit to the blending plant before a tutored nosing and tasting in the boardroom. Did you know that Tomintoul has nearly 5% of the Global Blended Scotch Whisky Market? Ask Graeme to explain and discover more facts about this little gem of a Distillery in Upper Speyside.
You will then travel the short distance to the Whisky Castle in Tomintoul to sample some of the best Independent Bottlings in the company of Sam and Scott Ashforth, before enjoying a 2-course lunch in the Clockhouse Restaurant in Tomintoul (included in the event ticket price).
